The Ogden Tigers went 4-0 over the weekend at Ben Lomond’s annual Pepsi Classic. The boys beat North Summit, Ben Lomond, Carbon, and South Summit to win the tournament. Senior Hailey Christiansen was named to the Standard Examiner’s Volleyball All-Area 2nd Team. Hailey played the setter position for the Tigers this year. Congratulations Hailey!
The Ogden High Wrestling Team is doing a fundraiser for some new gear. If anyone is interested in helping out, that would be greatly appreciated. Alek Parsons was recently named a national finalist for the Wendy’s High School Heisman. Here is a link to the article on their website. After winning the 4-A State Title in Cross-Country, Alek Parsons was named one of ten national finalists for the Wendy’s High School Heisman. Alek will be heading to New York for the award ceremony. Alek will also be recognized on ESPN during the college football Heisman trophy presentation on December 12th. Lindsay Yetter signed her letter of intent to compete in Track at BYU. Lindsay has won the 4-A state title in the 100 meter hurdles the last two years.
