During these unusual and difficult times, we feel it’s still important to reflect on & draw attention to some of our well performing athletes from the past few months! Below is their information.

Aaron Carty – Wrestling – Bonneville High School
Took 3rd place at State in his 220 lb weight class
Mason Denton – Wrestling – Fremont High School
Became a 2 time state champ this past week
Set 5 school records. Most wins (203), most pins (129), most team points, most match points and most wins in a single season with 55 this season.
Joel Washburn – Soccer – Clearfield High School
Joel has learned a lot of lessons throughout the last year, as he struggled with some mental health issues. He has overcome a lot of them by working really hard. He has always used soccer as a coping skill and has accelerated and has helped his team in a lot of ways.
Scored winning goal (2 goals in 7 minutes) in game against Fremont (2018-2019 season) to put Clearfield in the playoffs.
Christopher Porm – Baseball – Roy High School
In four games last week Chris was 4 for 8 at the plate batting .500 and on base percentage of .733. Chris also pitched a complete game giving up one unearned run on four hits, striking out 6 in 7 innings over Springville.
Jaden Lenthe – Soccer – Morgan High School
He is good at what he does and he gives his all.
Kylee Paul – Cheerleading – Roy HS
She is a great person on and off the field. She is very fit and athletic, yet kind and humble.
Rachel Wheelright – Swimming – Morgan HS
Was an individual state champion in swimming!
Place both first & third, bringing home a Gold & Bronze medal.
Raeganne Hester – Golf – Ben Lomond High School
She took 1st in the region 10 golf tournament down in St. George on Thursday, March 12th!
